CAREGIVING SERVICES

As we grow older, we sometimes need a little help to get through the day and/or stay in our home.  The Senior Connection has a variety of  services to help navigate the activities of daily living.  Mary and her team of compassionate caregivers can help evaluate you or your loved one’s situation and provide the appropriate level of care.  Give us a call today!

Submit a Caregiving Request or call us at 208-788-3468.

Alzheimer's Support Group

The Blaine County community continues to see a rise in folks being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. Their caregivers face the challenges of navigating this disease while providing care for their loved ones.

Dr. Carol Stephens, licensed psychologist who specializes in geriatrics as well as Senior Connection Caregiving Manager, Mary Ratliff, will lead and facilitate this group to provide education, therapy, and support. Dr. Stephens and Mary are both certified to train by the Alzheimer’s Association.

We have free respite care on-site so you can attend worry free.  We also invite you to enjoy lunch on us! Please call Mary Ratliff for more information 208-788-3468.

Caregiver Support Group

Please join us on the first Thursday of the month at 11 am here at the Senior Connection.  Hosted by the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley, you will receive professional guidance and support from social workers familiar with the challenges of caregiving.  You also have the opportunity to share and receive support from your peers.
