Group Lunch

From Monday-Friday, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, we serve delicious and nutritious meals in the Senior Connection’s dining room, with a helping of fun and friendship.

On the first Thursday of each month at Carey City Hall, the Senior Connection hosts a group lunch, also from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

For both locations, all ages are welcome!

– 60 and over: $6 (suggested voluntary donation; average cost per meal is $12)
– 59 and under: $10
– 12 and under: $4

A WORD FROM OUR NUTRITION DIRECTOR & CHEF

Hello, Senior Connection!

My name is Sky Barker and I am the Nutrition Director & Chef at the Senior Connection. I have had a passion for cooking good food for as long as I can remember, and have spent my time as head chef at wonderful restaurants in the Wood River Valley including The Mint and Zou 75. I was born and raised in the Valley, and am grateful for the opportunity to work at the Senior Connection. What excites me most about my job is helping the community, and my favorite part so far has been meeting new people.

In case you were wondering, the Kansas City Chiefs are hands down the greatest football team of all time! Also, I’m a new father and outside of work you can find me spending time with my lovely partner Rose, our baby, and our fur baby Tank.
